Dodford Manor Wedding Photography...

Harriet and Jimmy's wedding was a classic. I loved every second, but I'm not going to lie, a tricky one to photograph. Everything about Jimmy and Harriet's day was perfect, but unfortunately the weather wasn't on our side...

Although I have experienced many raining weddings, I don't think I have ever known one quite as determined as theirs. It literally didn't stop. What many people don't realise is very rainy days make shooting indoors much harder too. In these kind of situations finding the photographs is much harder as there are far fewer options available and finding the photographs becomes just that little bit more tricky. Fortunately, I had help on board with my friend Tony Cullinane. A brilliant wedding photographer from Essex, who kindly helped with the family shots and portraits. Must say great stiff upper lip was on show by everyone involved in those - simply the best ones yet!

As always thank you for your interest in my work,

I can’t believe I haven’t emailed you sooner to say a huge THANK YOU for our beautiful wedding photos!! You have done an absolutely incredible job of making it look like it wasn’t raining at all and really captured some beautiful moments! We absolutely love the photos and are so glad that we chose you to share the day with us, I remember not wanting you to leave in the evening, not because I didn’t want the photographing to end but because you had been there with me for most of the day, and your leaving seemed like a huge moment!

We loved having you be a part of our day and really could not be happier with our gorgeous photos. The wedding feels like it was ages ago now but looking at the pictures time after time ;) brings all the memories rushing back and helps to keep it all very real.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
