Weddings at Sudeley Castle...
Over the years I have been lucky enough to shoot as some pretty incredible wedding venues from the likes of Hampton Court Palace, the Dorchester, Blenheim Palace and of course Sudeley Castle.
Although it's a massive privilege to shoot at such incredible places it often comes with high expectation and pressure on me... This pressure I always feel, if I didn't I probably should put down the camera. However, for Mark and Yvonne's wedding the pressure was super high.
When I arrived at Sudeley it was quite possibly the worst weather I have seen in a decade. I have only a few times in my life seen rain as heavy. I had also not met Yvonne or Mark before the day, but via previous correspondence I know they wanted more family and portraits than are the norm. Always tricky in the rain and more so as I was only there for a few hours.
In really bad weather like this black and white is king... I have posted a few of my faves below.
As always I hope you enjoy my work,
We just had a look at our wedding pictures and wanted to write to thank you for capturing our wedding day in such a beautiful way. We are so happy with the work you did – you truly are very talented in what you do!
It has been a pleasure to have you as our photographer.
Again thanks so much,
Yvonne & Mark
