Somerset wedding Photography...

Over the last few years I have photographed weddings in some amazing venues from Castles to Palaces as well as some of the grandest hotels in the land. However, that's not what draws me to photographing weddings. It's the people.

The Human condition has always fascinated me and from a very early age I was always told I had an uncanny knack of reading people. In an environment like a wedding where you have often not met anyone and are tasked with taking the photographs this ability is vital. Phil and Eva's wedding was even more interesting to me as Eva's side are all Hungarian and knew about a dozen words of English between them. I have no idea what they made of me doing my fly on the wall way of shooting, but from my end I simply loved it.

Phil and Eva's wedding was a rustic treat in a tiny village called Theale Somerset. For me, it was one of the most beautiful, honest and fascinating weddings I have ever shot. Honesty is really important to me and my work. I shy away from fancy effects and trends and prefer to just let things flow...

I also shy away from too much writing as it's not my strong point, so below are a few of my faves from their day.

I hope you like looking through a few of the shots from Phil and Eva's wedding and if you're looking for a photographer in Somerset or in the South West area please do not hesitate to get in contact.

As always thank you for your interest in my work,

James
